Polestar presented a “BIG” $910 donation check to Junior Achievement (JA) on Friday, June 9, 2017 as the result of a successful garage sale fundraiser. "It was our very first company garage sale fundraiser, and we couldn't have done it without the support of our employees," said Samee Nihill. The funds were raised by Polestar employees through various donated items, such as brand new shoes, camping gear, futons etc.
JA has become one of Polestar's main focus for fundraising, as JA is revolutionary in Career Connected Learning. "Our efforts help JA reach an
increasing number of students in the Tri-Cities area with the ultimate goal of providing JA opportunities to every student in Washington State. The gift is already working with over 120,000 WA students!"
Polestar wishes to thank the crew who donated sale items including Lisa Eilertsen, Mark Morton JR, Mark Morton SR, Jessica Fuller, Kathy Miller, Eric Clements, Samee Nihill, Bill and Patty Bailey, and Bryan Coles.
