On April 4, 1974 Bill Gates and Paul Allen started Microsoft. Last year, in celebration of the company’s 40th anniversary, Bill Gates sent a letter to Microsoft employees. The opening paragraph of that letter talks about the boldness of the goal that he and Paul Allen set when they founded Microsoft 40 years ago.
They relentlessly pursued their dream through good times and challenging times growing the company from revenue of $16,005 (yes, sixteen thousand) and three employees to $93.5 Billion and 118,000 employees in 2015. It’s safe to say they achieved their goal.
Polestar’s BHAG, “To Transform Polestar Technical Services into a Full Service Closure Company” is no less bold but also no less achievable. We have a team of brilliant and innovative employees who have stuck with us through many ups and downs throughout our history. With each new contact we make, contract we sign, new employee, new skill or qualification we put under our belt, we inch our way closer to our goal. Every day will bring challenges and successes and for every challenge we will work together to overcome and for every success we will celebrate.
Today let’s celebrate!
Thank you all for your support and hard work and most of all for your continued commitment to the Polestar family.
Kathy, Patty and Bill
